….Gov Lauds President Tinubu, Solid Minerals Minister For Creating Enabling Environment
The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo has matched his words with action towards the development of the Solid Minerals Sector.
This commitment by Gov. Ododo was displayed with the invitation and visit of some Chinese investors to Mining Sites in the State.
The present administration’s readiness to develop the Solid Minerals Sector saw the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural resources, Engr. Bashir Abubakar Gegu leading the State Solid Minerals Development team to an exploration site together with the Chinese investors.
Speaking, the Commissioner said Kogi State is rated high in the world map of Solid Minerals, pointing out that every LGA of the State is endowed naturally with at least one Mineral type.
The Commissioner who represented the Governor at the visit to the mining site appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his renewed hope agenda that is yielding economic empowerment.
The Governor equally thanked the Minister for Solid Minerals Development for the enabling environment and the wherewithal he has created in moving the solid Minerals Sector forward.
According to the Governor, “Kogi State is ready to partner with genuine investors”, assured investors of quick returns on their investments, pointing out that the State is safe in terms of doing business.
