Edo PDP chieftain and youth advocate, Andrew Enantomhen on Saturday criticized the APC for trying to cause trouble in Edo State as the Edo State Governorship election approaches.
He made this statement in reaction to the recent arrest of Hon. Kingsley Osehon, Councillor of Ward 10 and Chief Whip, Esan North-East Local Government Council of Edo State by “suspected policemen”.
Andrew Enantomhen called for the immediate release of Hon. Kingsley Osehon and called on the APC to stop intimidating the people of Edo State.
“The people of Edo State have made up their minds. They have decided. We have decided. Our votes are for Asue Ighodalo of the PDP. We don’t have anything in common with APC in Edo State just as light has nothing in common with darkness. APC represents darkness, so we don’t want them in Edo State. We have chosen the light, hence we chose Asue Ighodalo as the person we will vote for, come September 21, 2024.
“We the people of Edo State cannot be intimidated by the APC. I use this medium to call for the immediate release of Hon. Kingsley Osehon. His arrest is unlawful, his arrest is an insult on the collective decency in Edo State. Hon. Kingsley Osehon is a leader in Esan North-East Local Government. Arresting him is like arresting the people of Esan and we will not take that. We the people of Esan cannot be intimidated,” Andrew Enantomhen said.
