Nasarawa Gov Sule congratulates Gov Ododo, says Supreme Court Judgement is a triumph for Justice and Democracy

Following the supreme court judgement affirming the Kogi State Governor’s mandate, the Nasarawa State Governor and Chairman, North Central Governor’s Forum Engr. Abdullahi A.Sule has congratulated Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at the Supreme Court.

Reacting to the ruling of the apex Court on Friday, Gov Sule said “the judgement is an affirmation of the will of the people of Kogi state, and a triumph for justice and democracy”.

This was contained in a statement issued by Ibrahim Addra, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, 24/08/2024, said Engr. Sule called on Governor Ododo to “put the litigations behind him and redouble efforts to deliver good governance and prosperity to the people of Kogi state in line with the manifesto of governing party, the All Progressives Congress, APC”.

He urged the Kogi governor to be magnanimous in victory and be a Governor for all while calling on the people of the state to rally round the administration for the benefit of the state, the region and the country as a whole.
