Following a recent congratulatory/working visit to the council chairman on the 19th of August, 2024, the leadership of the National Association of Delta State Students (Nadesstu Worldwide) formally requested and appealed to the local government council to consider the payment to students schooling in higher institutions from Warri South LGA.

It is with great pleasure for us to inform all our students who are origin of Warri South LGA that the council has graciously approved our requests and would commence payment soon.

In light of the above, on behalf of the over 2.7 million students of Delta State origin schooling both home and diaspora, we wish to pass a vote of confidence on the Chairman regarding the approval of bursary payments for 900 students. This vote of confidence highlights our appreciation for the chairman’s efforts in facilitating financial assistance, which plays a crucial role in supporting their education.

The approval of bursaries is anticipated to alleviate financial burden on the students and enhance academic pursuits. The chairman’s commitment to investing in education through these bursary payments has likely fostered goodwill among the student community, reinforcing the importance of local government support in educational initiatives.
