General Manager, Kogi State Sanitation and Waste Management Board, Sanitarian Ajayi James Olufemi has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at the supreme court.

Sanitarian Olufemi in his congratulatory message in Lokoja described the victory as the recognition of the peoples’ mandate and the respect for the electorates who trooped out to vote for the All Progressive Congress in the last election.

The General Manager said the verdict has put to suspension all forms of distractions, noting that the victory was not a surprise to the staff of the board and the good people of Kogi State who believed in the renew hope agenda of the Federal Government and that of continuity at the State level.

He pledged the commitment of the Board to bring to reality the hope and expectations of the present administration for a serene environment for a healthy living.

The General Manager equally congratulated all the members of cabinet, particularly the State Commissioner for Environment, Engineer Joseph Stephen Olusegun for his zeal towards achieving the day to day obligations of the board.

Sanitarian Olufemi appealed to the people of Kogi State to maintain high standard on the aspect of hygiene and maintenance of drainages to avoid blockages warning that the board will continue to prosecute sanction those who breaks sanitation law.
