The Special Adviser on Agriculture to the President, Honourable Abiodun Yunusa, has extended condolences to the people of Borno State regarding the recent flooding in the area.
While urging the populace to relocate to higher ground, he also seized the opportunity to offer similar assistance to the people of Bauchi state, as well as numerous others, including Jigawa state.
A statement personally signed by Honorable Abiodun Yunusa on Wednesday conveyed profound condolences regarding the unfortunate incident and development.
He appreciated the efforts of both the state and federal governments to address the unexpected and seasonal issues affecting the people of Borno, among others.
He said with the gradual resolution of the activities of non state actors in these areas , the natural phenomenon had done a serious blow to the people, saying the counter efforts by the government was timely.
