….Welcomes newly appointed officials in Gegu Beki, pledges Governor Ododo steadfast support and cooperation

A delegation of recently appointed ward and local government assistants has paid a thank-you visit to Chief Mohammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu, leader of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi local government and Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, in appreciation of his efforts in securing their state government appointments
The team led by Hon Abubakar Onah, Chairman of Kogi LG APC, recognized Hon Bashir Gegu’s exemplary leadership and inclusive policies, significantly enhancing the State’s development, and reiterated their resolute support for and allegiance to the leadership of Governor Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.
The delegation met with Commissioner Gegu at his ancestral home in Gegu Beki, where they offered prayers for the success of Governor Ahmed Usman and his appointees in fulfilling the mandate entrusted to them by the people of Kogi.
In his remarks, Hon Mohammad Abubakar Bashir Gegu, State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, appreciated the divine support and wisdom that has empowered them to serve their people with unwavering dedication.
He noted that leadership is essentially about providing service to the people, which serves as a catalyst for alleviating unemployment and poverty, and cultivating an environment conducive to a better society.
Mr. Gegu, urged the appointees to harness their expertise, noting that Kogi LG’s goals are ambitious and failure to meet them will not be excused.
He call on them to contribute their quota in shaping the society no how little they give.
Bashir Gegu congratulated the appointees and charged them to champion the interests of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo and APC, acting as ambassadors in their various units and wards.
It would be recalled that Bashir Gegu has also facilitated State appointments comprising Special Advisers and SSAs for his people among others
