Veteran Yoruba actress, Ayo Mogaji recently discussed the challenges women face in finding marriage as they approach 35 and shared advice for single women in an interview on Oyinmomo TV’s YouTube channel.
Mogaji suggested women unmarried at 35 should consider having a child, regardless of the man’s readiness for fatherhood, highlighting motherhood’s significance.
She noted that many women prioritize their careers and personal achievements over marriage, potentially leading to delayed unions. Mogaji cautioned that while success is vital, time passes quickly, and women may later feel unfulfilled personally.
She pointed out that some men’s attitudes toward women between 35 and 40 can make dating more difficult for women in this age range, adding pressure as they navigate their preferences and choices.
Mogaji said, “A woman unable to find a husband by age 35 should get pregnant by any man to have a child. If she finds a man she’s close to, even if he’s not ready for responsibility, she should proceed and have a child.”
