The National Woman Leader highlighted the need for strategic political positioning post-2024 Edo election by fostering a culture of industriousness.

She suggests that specific appointees should be allowed to transition into the new Edo State government, as the National Women Leader’s office has developed a substantial network of capable, loyal female party members to support the formation of a new state government.

Olugbenga Pius, Confidential Secretary to the APC National Women Leader, confirmed in an electronic press release dated Thursday, 3rd October 2024, that the dissolution includes all 18 special assistants on mobilization and volunteer assistants covering Edo State’s three Senatorial Districts.

She acknowledged the appointees’ unwavering commitment and sacrifice, instrumental in achieving the electoral success of Senator Monday Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa in the Edo state governorship election on Saturday, 21st September, 2024, and reaffirmed that their contributions would be recognized and valued.
