Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies is gearing up to become a top-notch teacher training institution in the state and beyond.
The college’s Provost, Professor Abubakar Balarabe Jakada, has reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to maintaining its high standards , the college aims to provide quality education, training, and research in Islamic and legal studies, producing well-rounded graduates who can fill the shortage of qualified teachers in primary and secondary schools.
This was disclosed by the provost during National Commission for Colleges of Education accreditation inspection exercise
Professor Jakada emphasized that the college serves as a hub for moral and academic excellence, promoting knowledge advancement and application to meet the state’s and country’s needs.
To achieve this, the college has upgraded its programs to meet the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) minimum standards and enhanced its infrastructure to accommodate degree programs, including an affiliation with Federal University of Dutsin Ma
