Hon Abdulrafiu Yakubu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed his support for the party’s candidates in Lokoja LGA with financial backing to enhance their chances of winning.
According to the philanthropist, the Local Government takes pride in having the finest team for the October 19 election.
Yakubu also extended financial support to APC Party Executives, urging them to demonstrate leadership and secure victories for all APC candidates, spanning from the Chairman to all Councillor positions.
The young politician described APC Chairmanship Candidate, Comr. Abdullahi Adamu, as a rare breed administrator passionate about Lokoja LGA’s development and expressed optimism that Lokoja would be in safe hands given his achievements as Caretaker Chairman.
“I described the Council Chairmanship Candidate and his Vice as a winning team and expressed optimism about an overwhelming win. We urged the people to ensure that APC delivers all Councillorship Candidates in Lokoja, pointing out that, without contradiction, APC will win all seats.”
“I am committed to supporting a functional Lokoja LG; I assure you of my continued collaboration with the team, before and after the election, once they emerge victorious.”
The State Independent Electoral Commission had fixed October 19 for Kogi State local government elections.
