On behalf of Okpe Kingdom’s people, HRH Oba Okhishimede Eshimokhai Idogun III (JP) OON, Olokpe of Okpe Kingdom in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area, congratulated Governor Monday Okpebholo on his inauguration as Edo State’s Executive Governor.
The Olokpe of Okpe said in a statement released to Journalists through Elempe Dele in Benin City, Edo State capital, on Thursday, saying ‘Please accept the Okpe Kingdom’s people’s warm congratulations on your assumption of office as Edo State Executive Governor, and our best wishes for the challenges ahead.’
“As you embark upon your new assignment, the people of Okpe Kingdom wish to assure you and members of your cabinet our unflinching support, of our unalloyed friendship, and the promotion of a Rising Edo State that will beam to all the corners of the state.
“The people of the Kingdom are looking forward to working with you, not only to develop close ties, but to further cement the existing relationship for the development of the Kingdom particularly and Edo State at large through concerted efforts as law-abiding citizens.
