Ekele Commends Servicom, Management, and Board of UATH for Initiating Staff and Corporate Awards

The Chief Medical Director, University of Abuja Teaching Hospital Gwagwalada UATH, renamed as Yakubu Gowon Teaching Hospital Gwagwalada YGTH, Professor Bisala Ahmed Ekele has commended Servicom, Management and Board of the hospital for setting up annual staff assessment through awards to workers and corporate organizations.
He made this remark on Wednesday during the presentation of awards to staff, corporate bodies and department held in the hospital premises
The University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, UATH renamed as Yakubu Gowon Teaching Hospital YGTH has held the annual end of the year staff and corporate awards for the workers of the tertiary health institution.
The program initiated by the Board and Management of the Hospital in 2018 , in the last seven years .
While delivering his speech, Bisala said the idea of the Initiative was to promote the culture of efficiency, effectiveness, tradition and dedication to duty by the entire staffers of the hospital.
While appreciating the tremendous supports by the stakeholders of the hospital for over seven years , he solicited for more cooperation in that regard.
He said he was impressed by the performance of award winning staffers, the departments , corporate organizations that had transformed the tertiary health institution’.
He thanked the Servicom for their supports and cooperation in the selection of the staff , bodies, and organisations for their transparent program.
He rolled out the individual winners as Dr Olori , Professor Dike Orji , Dr Vivian Kwageh, Anumah, Dr Nimpha , Engr Bala Mahmud, from 2018 till date, including Departments and Corporate organizations.
Highlights of the occasion included the presentation of awards to staffers from various departments and corporate organizations along with departments of the hospital.
