Maikaya presents N500,000 gift to Toto women group

A prominent politician and former governorship aspirant in Nasarawa State, Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya, has made a donation of 500,000 naira to the Toto Women Development Association, reflecting his dedication to enhancing society and promoting empowerment.
Maikaya’s philanthropic initiatives are designed to uplift the community and empower women, aligning with his broad vision of enhancing societal well-being through targeted investments.
Maikaya, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the well-known Maikaya Development Foundation and Maikaya Farm Limited, made the donation after a meeting with the women’s group at his Toto residence on Wednesday
The esteemed entrepreneur-turned-politician highlighted that his initiative, the Maikaya Development Foundation, sought to create value and support vulnerable individuals, thereby reinforcing government programs.
Global Times Nigeria reports that Maikaya has registered over 700 women for the Nasarawa Health Insurance Scheme, a move the State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, hailed as a partnership in progress and pledged full support to enable Maikaya to realize his goals.
It was reported that Alhaji Musa Muhammed Maikaya, the foundation’s CEO, emphasized the vital role of partnerships in improving healthcare access and lives. He vowed to sustain collaborations with organizations like NASHIA, demonstrating a shared dedication to community welfare and empowerment.
Maikaya Development Foundation has been commended for its commitment to supporting vulnerable populations, particularly through its recent initiative to enroll 750 individuals in a state health insurance program.
The leadership of Toto Women Development Association, led by Maryam Musa, expressed gratitude to Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya for his generosity, particularly his kind gesture towards the upliftment of the downtrodden.
She expressed her sincere appreciation to Dr. Maikaya for his ongoing dedication to his people, pointing out that the financial benevolence will make a substantial difference in the lives of women in the area.
Usman Abayaro, a Toto-based party chieftain, commended Dr. Maikaya in his remarks, hailing him as a Godsent who assists people regardless of their tribe or religion. Abayaro assured Maikaya the backing of Toto LGA youths and women.
He prayed for Maikaya’s success as he encouraged other wealthy citizens to follow his exemplary leadership style.
