Nasarawa Speaker marks Danyaro’s 53rd birthday with call for prayers and support for all leaders
The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has described Hon. Hajarat Ibrahim Danyaro, Member Representing Nasarawa Central, as a heavenly gift and a blessing to the people of Nasarawa Central and the State at large.
At the event celebrating Hon. Hajara Ibrahim Danyaro’s 53rd birthday anniversary, held at her home beside the Government House in Lafia, the Speaker made this remark.
According to the Speaker, Hon. Hajara Ibrahim Danyaro holds the distinction of being the only female Lawmaker in Nasarawa State, displaying outstanding performance that surpasses her male counterparts.
“You are a great woman in Nasarawa State House of Assembly’s history, you have made a difference and are breaking barriers; keep it up.” He added.
He prayed God to keep her alive for many more years to come to enable her continue to impact positively on the life of her constituents, women and the entire state.
“As women advocate and a person with concern for the less privilege, you will continue to grow higher and higher for the benefit of the generality of humanity by his grace” the Speaker said.
He called on all to pray and support leaders at all levels to succeed.
Hon. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, the celebrant, acknowledged with appreciation the contributions of Gov. Abdullahi Sule, former Governor of Plateau State, Sen. Simon Lalong, Speaker, House of Assembly, and government functionaries towards making the day memorable, and equally thanked God Almighty for enabling her to reach the age of 53.
” Getting older is a thing of joy, 53 years mean I have crossed the middle, but still looking younger, I thank God” She said.
When discussing her performance at the assembly, she remarked, “age does not impact performance. My main priority is the less privileged, vulnerable individuals, and the people of my constituency and the state.”
” I will continue to execute projects that have direct impact on the lives of the people “. She said.
Barr. Esson Mairiga, representing Lafia North, and Hon. Musa Ibrahim, representing Doma South, congratulated Danyaro and wished her many more years in good health and blessings from God.
In her goodwill message the Head of Service, Barr. Abigail Waya said Hon. Hajara Ibrahim is a great achiever and motivator that every young girl especially those in secondary schools will want to emulate.
” You make women proud, we are proud of your contributions for women emancipation and inclusion in the affairs of governance”
” Continue to make us happy and proud with your beautiful contributions at the floor of the assembly” She said.
She said Danyaro’s advocacy has yielded results as today they have a good number of women elected as councilors.
Also commenting on the life of the Lawmaker, the Rector, Isa Mustapha Agwai 1, Polytechnic Lafia, Maifata, Director Public Relation and Protocol, of the institution Mukhtar Wakeel, Chairman G5 group, Alh. Abdullahi Ibrahim (Adon Garin Lafia), former Rector, IMAP, Dr. Justina Kotso and the State Commissioner of Police among others expressed satisfaction with the contributions of Hon. Hajara Ibrahim in advocating for women involvement in governance among other notable achievements and wished her well as they celebrated her birthday with cake, dance and wine.
