Naswamsa DG vows to prioritize hard work, staff welfar

The Director General of Nasarawa state waste management and sanitation authority, Mohammed Bello Isa, has expressed readiness to execute his mandate of transforming the organization through strategic leadership.

He made this statement while engaging with journalists and management staff of the organization at his office in Nyanya Gwandara, Karu Local Government Area, on Monday.

He praised Governor Abdullahi Sule for giving him the mandate to steer the organization and promised to devote his best endeavors to ensuring the state’s residents live in a clean and sanitary environment, revealing that the waste management authority will forge a strong partnership with the ministry of environment to accomplish its goals.

Mohammed thereafter appealed to staff and other relevant agencies to provide support for the organization’s activities to achieve success despite equipment challenges.

“This is the year of hard work, I will ensure that the staff of the organization are motivated, this will improve their dedication to work”

“Some of our equipment are down but I assure you that we will try our best to fix them so as they can function well. I urged my staff to give me support to enable us achieve our desire goal”

The Naswamsa boss highlighted the importance of fostering a cooperative working relationship between the organization and the ministry of environment and natural resources to ensure the continued success of the monthly sanitation exercise statewide.

Mohammed, formerly a member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has taken over as DG Naswamsa from Barr. Abubakar Aliyu Madaki, the current Chairman of Karu Local Government Area.
