Hajiya Rekiya Tijani, Coordinator of the Asiwaju/Shettima Mandate Group in Kogi State, has praised Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for addressing various complex problems in the state since he took mantle of leadership one year ago.
The Kogi east veteran grassroots politician pointed out that the administration led by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has achieved significant success in areas of security, education, agriculture, timely payment of salaries to Kogi State workers, pension and gratuity, youth and women empowerment programs among others.
Rekiya Tijanu also servrd as Women Coordinator for the Shuaib Abubakar Audu Foundation, stated that she has never regretted her support for the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s efforts towards a better Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.
In a statement issued on Sunday and made available to Global Times Nigeria, Hajiya Rekiya declared that the new Kogi Governor is well-prepared for leadership and has adopted the vision of his predecessor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, whom many referred as architect of new Kogi State
While congratulating the Governor, Rekiya emphasized the importance of recognizing those who worked tirelessly to ensure his installation, suggesting that a reward system, as exemplified by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, where dedicated individuals are compensated with appointments, would be fitting.
In her opinion, Governor Ododo’s continued momentum would make him unbeatable in the 2027 election, considering his substantial contributions to the State’s growth.
She prayed for the success of Kogi State Governor and called upon the vast population to rally support to enable him to do more
