NSCDC Parades Suspects for Burglary, Cow Rustling

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) recently paraded two suspects in connection with criminal activities in Nasarawa State.
A 31-year-old ex-convict, Auwal Sani, from Kaduna State, was arrested for house burglary, and Abdul Ismaila was apprehended for cow rustling at the NSCDC’s Keffi area office, Keffi Local Government Area, Nasarawa State.
” The prime suspect Auwal Sani a 31 years old is from Kaduna state but residing in Mararaba ,Karu LGA .Auwal Sani an ex-convict gained his freedom barely 2 months ago.
” He is helping the division with necessary information that will lead to the arrest of his gang members” He said
Abdul Ismaila was arrested on January 31, 2025, for rustling more than 12 cows from Kwai, Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State. He was apprehended in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State and is currently cooperating with the authorities, providing necessary information to aid in the arrest of his gang members.
According to DSC Jerry Victor, the Public Relations Officer of NSCDC Lafia Command, the suspects will be charged to a competent court of jurisdiction upon completion of the investigation. The command has vowed to leave no stone unturned in the fight against crime and criminality.
