Again, Maikaya Gets Prestigious Humanitarian Award at Turakin Loko Talent Hunt Football Tournament

Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maikaya Development Foundation and Maikaya Farm Limited, has been recognized with a humanitarian service award from the Turakin Loko talent hunt football tournament
Although his humanitarian work has been acknowledged through other awards and recognitions, including being recognized as an “Icon of Humanitarian Service” by various student bodies, such as Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, and youth organizations within the country.
Maikaya Development Foundation has initiated various philanthropic programs, including awarding scholarships, providing potable water to various communities, and hosting football tournaments to support socio-economic development in the country.
This recognition acknowledges his outstanding commitment to humanitarian services, youth development initiatives, and peace-building efforts in Nasarawa State.
The award was conferred by the Emir of Loko, Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed Sabo, at the tournament’s final competition, honoring Dr. Maikaya’s exceptional achievements, notably in promoting youth and women’s development via his foundation.
Dr. Maikaya responded by expressing gratitude to the tournament’s management and the people of Loko community for the honor, noting that this recognition will motivate him to continue supporting the people of Nasarawa State.
The Turakin Loko talent hunt football tournament strives to unite youth from various communities, promoting peace and unity within Loko.
The event’s convener, Adamu Abdul Loko, stressed the significance of this initiative in promoting development and harmony in the area.
Global Times Nigeria reports that the Maikaya Development Foundation has launched a Health Insurance scheme, benefiting 740 individuals across the three Senatorial districts of Nasarawa State.
As part of its efforts to achieve its core objectives, the foundation has recently provided over ten million naira in scholarship grants to support indigenous students from Nasarawa State enrolled in various tertiary institutions nationwide.
Award winning foundation has also invested in human capital development by sponsoring over 1000 women and youths in vocational training programs, designed to equip them with skills for self-employment.
Maikaya, a notable philanthropist and entrepreneur based in Lagos, Nigeria has promised to continue advancing societal well-being.
