…Ekabo applauds Oborevwori’s commitment to airlifting pilgrims

The Delta State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board has scheduled Tuesday, February 11, 2025, as the official date for briefing and orientation exercise for all successful 2024 pilgrims to the Holy Land of Israel and other designated Holy sites.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Very Rev. Fr. Christopher Ekabo, announced in a statement on Monday that the exercise will be held at the Christian Association of Nigeria, C.A.N Main Auditorium Asaba, commencing at 9am.

Rev Fr..Ekabo, commended the state governor, Dr (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, for making necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth airlifting of “Team Delta 2024 Pilgrims” to the Holy Land of Israel and other approved Holy locations.

He thanked the governor for partnering with faith based organisations in the state, while appealing to Christians across denominations to continue to pray for the huge success of Oborevwori’s administration.

“It is hereby announced that the orientation and briefing exercise for all successful 2024 pilgrims to the Holy Land will take place on Tuesday 11th February 2025.

“The exercise shall take place at the C.A.N Main Auditorium in Asaba, beginning from 9am. It’s compulsory for all successful pilgrims for the 2024 Holy pilgrimage to attend, please.

“The successful pilgrims were carefully selected from all Christian denominations in the state. Those who could not make it in the 2024 Holy pilgrimage stand the chance of being selected in the near future.

“While in Israel and other Holy sites/locations we shall pray consistently for sustained prosperity, enhanced peace and security, more mega infrastructural and socioeconomic development in Delta State, through the ongoing fullscale implementation of governor Oborevwori’s MORE agenda,” Ekabo assured.
