NYCN applauds Olamaboro Chairman over Youth Development Trust Fund

The Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area, Hon. Ameh Williams, has been commended for his proactive stance on security, infrastructure, and youth development initiatives, including the establishment of the Olamaboro Youth Development Fund, OYDF.
The National Secretary General of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Barrister Suleiman Abubakar, has extended appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Olamaboro LGA of Kogi state Comr. Ameh Williams for approving the establishment of the Olamaboro Youth Development Trust Fund (OYDTF)
The NYCN Secretary General, in a statement, had expressed joy on behalf of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) regarding the Olamaboro Chairman’s commitment and his visionary leadership towards the youth, including the approval for the establishment of the Olamaboro Youth Development Trust Fund (OYDTF).
According to him, this landmark achievement showcases the Chairman’s dedication to empowering Olamaboro’s youth and providing them with opportunities for growth and development. The OYDTF is a significant step towards addressing the challenges faced by young people in Olamaboro, including poverty, unemployment, and lack of access to education and skills training.
“As the apex organization and spokesperson for Nigerian youths, the NYCN is devoted to supporting initiatives that advance youth development and empowerment. We believe that the OYDTF will provide a platform for young people in Olamaboro to acquire skills, access education and job opportunities, and contribute to the local economy.”
Through this medium, we are calling on the 774 LGAs in Nigeria to adopt Olamaboro L.G.A’s pioneering strategy of providing youths with their rightful place in governance.
We commend the Executive Chairman of Olamaboro LGA once again for his outstanding leadership and dedication to youth development. We anticipate working closely with him and other stakeholders to guarantee the successful execution of the OYDTF and other initiatives that foster youth empowerment and development.
On his part, the Chairman, Kogi State chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, has extended his congratulations to Hon Ameh Williams, Olamaboro Chairman, and the entire youth of the area on the recent development leading to creation of Youth Development Trust Fund.
Ojodale, in a statement, lauded Williams for his diverse development initiatives, particularly his dedication to supporting youths, noting that he has established a solid foundation for youth independence.
According to him, the Chairman’s remarkable commitment and dedication to achieving success during his time in office left him overwhelmed.
He urged other council chairmen in Kogi State to emulate this example in order to enhance the standard of youth in the State.
