Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the immediate past speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has acknowledged the outstanding performance of Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo within one year in office and urged him to sustain the spirit.

He also applauded the Governor for his dedication to youth development in the State, as well as other significant development initiatives.

Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the current Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Yobe State, made remarks while receiving the Chairman of the Kogi State National Youth Council of Nigeria, Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, at his Lafia residence on Thursday.

Balarabe Abdullahi commended Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo’s performance over the past year, stating that he has done greatly and advising him to keep up the good work.

“Let me be very frank to you and quote me any where, Kogi Governor started on a good note, he is doing very well for his people so far and if he sustain it, believe me his second term will be easy for him, I salute his efforts so far” he said.

Balarabe, who represented the people of Umaisha/Ugya State Constituency commended Kogi State Governor for incorporating the youths into the decision-making process and urged the youths and other State residents to provide the Governor with maximum support to succeed.

He urged young people nationwide to consistently serve as ambassadors of peace, unity and development.

Earlier, Kogi State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale stated that he visited the former Speaker to express solidarity and offer best wishes for his future endeavors.

“Sir, I am here to know you as a person, as a youth advocate and media practitioner I have been following your activities for the past Eight years and have been logging to meet you one on one, to God be the glory today I had that privileged.

The Chairman of the Kogi State Youths Council showcased the former Speaker’s car donation by the Governor to the youths, as he received the “Most Outstanding Politician Award” from Global Times Nigeria.
