NADESSTU Commends Obaro Charity Foundation for Supporting Education in Delta

The National Association of Delta State Students (NADESSTU) has commended Engr. Obaro Freedom Burutu, founder of the Obaro Charity Foundation, for his contributions to education in Delta State. Recently the foundation paid WAEC fees for 85 students in Isoko North, demonstrating its commitment to supporting academic pursuits for Delta State students.

The foundation gesture aligns with efforts to enhance educational opportunities, a cause also supported by initiatives like those of NADESSTU, which focuses on promoting educational development

This commendation was conveyed Monday during a courtesy visit by the NADESSTU President, Comrade Monday Wiska, and other delegates of the association.

During the visit, Wiska highlighted the foundation’s significant contributions to students, particularly, the recent payment of WAEC fees for 85 students from Delta State and the ongoing plan to organize a science quiz where winners will be going home with laptops and cash prizes.

“Our visit aimed to acknowledge Engr. Obaro’s generous assistance through the Obaro Charity Foundation, which has had a profound impact on our students and the broader community including the less privileged,” Wiska said.

Wiska also took the opportunity to share the association’s accomplishments with Obaro, who expressed admiration for NADESSTU’s progress during his tenure as president, including the establishment of the NADESSTU Centre for Excellence and Entrepreneurship among other initiatives.

The highlight of the saw the presentation of the NADESSTU MERIT AWARD to the Founder, Engr Obaro Freedom in recognition/appreciation of his outstanding contributions to educational development in Delta State.
