Hon. Mohammed Yarima Al-Bashir, a former House of Representatives candidate for the Nasarawa/Toto federal constituency and Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) hosted a Ramadan iftar dinner for friends, political associates, and Nasarawa local government council legislative officials

Al-bashir, a prominent politician and Senior Technical advisor to Federal Commissioner of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI), Hon. Tijani Aliyu Ahmed.
The event held on 23rd March of Ramadan 1446, with Hon. Mohammed Yarima Al-Bashir hosting Nasarawa LG Councillors for an iftar dinner, bringing together all 15 elected council members under the leadership of Rt. Hon Danjuma Odumu (JP).
Speaking at the iftar event, Al-Bashir stated that the aim was to strengthen ties with the council members and to formally congratulate them on their victories in the recently concluded council elections in the State.
Al-Bashir encouraged the council legislature to support Governor Abdullahi Sule, the council Chairman, and leaders at all levels to succeed, and he expressed sincere appreciation to them for attending the occasion.

Responding on behalf of the Council members, Rt. Hon. Danjuma Odumu (JP), the Speaker of the council and Councillor representing the people of Odu ward, expressed gratitude to the Baraden Apawa for hosting the iftar. He assured Barade of the council’s continued support for all stakeholders for the betterment and development of Nasarawa LGA.
The Iftar saw a large turnout of Hon. Al-Bashir’s supporters, friends, and associates, where prayers were offered for Nasarawa LGA, Nasarawa State, and Nigeria as a whole.

Global Times Nigeria recalled that In January 2023, Governor Abdullahi Sule presented Hon. Muhammed Yarima Albasheer with the APC flag after the Appeal Court affirmed him as the APC candidate for Nasarawa/Toto Federal House of Representatives.
