Maikaya tasks Nigerian youths on loyalty and support for leaders

….Says he has always been driven by a desire to secure economic and political freedom for the young people of Nasarawa and Nigeria

Renowned philanthropist and entrepreneur Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya also known as Ciroman Toto, has  advised Nigerian youths to provide unwavering loyalty and support to their leaders across all levels, stressing that such dedication will propel their progress and advancement in the realms of politics and private enterprise.

Maikaya disclosed when he hosted the Kogi State chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) leadership led by its Chairman, Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale at his Abuja residence on Wednesday

The former Nasarawa governorship aspirant expressed his gratitude to the youths of Kogi State for finding him worthy of a visit, and pledged to continue making himself available to them whenever they needed him.

In 2019, Alhaji Muhammed Musa Maikaya aspired to the governorship position under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, and he continues to advocate for youth leadership involvement, stressing its importance for societal development.

According to his statement, he has always been driven by a desire to secure economic and political freedom for the young people of Nasarawa and Nigeria, adding that his involvement in politics is aimed at driving transformative change.

Maikaya’s political career showcases his pledge to youth empowerment and inclusive governance, particularly within his State and Nigeria as a whole.

Although he participated in the APC primaries for the 2019 Nasarawa State gubernatorial election, where Abdullahi Sule ultimately secured the party’s nomination and went on to win the general election

Earlier, Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, the Chairman of the Kogi State chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), expressed gratitude to Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya for his consistent support and cooperation towards rendering assistance to young people not only in Nasarawa State but Nigeria as a whole.

Ojodale said he has been an advocate for youth empowerment and unity in Kogi State, emphasizing inclusive leadership and development.

The Kogi NYCN Chairman said Under his leadership, the NYCN has achieved milestones such as youth appointments across local governments and infrastructure improvements like motorized boreholes at the Kogi Youth House among others.

He stated that they were in Abuja on the invitation of the immediate past Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, for a Ramadan Iftar dinner at his residence on Tuesday, and to also visit their leader, Dr. Maikaya.

According to him, whenever they are in Abuja, they utilize the opportunity to visit some leaders who have contributed immensely to the development of their respective state, regardless of tribe and religious beliefs.

He lauded Maikaya for his dedication to Nasarawa youths and encouraged him to continue his good work.

The meeting brought together young people from Kogi, Nasarawa to engage in pleasantries with their leader, Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya, whom they referred as mentor and leader with foresight
