Comrade Abdulrahman Abdulmumuni Enesi, a notable youth advocate, commended the recently concluded National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) local government elections in Kogi State, where new coordinators were elected to assume some vacant positions.

He described the poll as fair, credible, peaceful, and unmarred by rancour and acrimony.

Comrade Enesi, a former student leader in a statement issued in Lokoja, Kogi State capital on Wednesday particularly thanked the electoral committee for a job well done, calling on them to sustain the tempo

Comrade Abdulmumini Enesi expressed optimism that the newly elected officials at the local chapter will set a high standard, calling on them to strive tirelessly to justify the confidence reposed in them by Kogi youths.

“After monitoring the elections across the state’s three senatorial districts, I can confidently state that the council has accomplished a remarkable feat, considering that the process was peaceful., Enesi said.

He also advised the newly elected officials to show loyalty and support to their superiors, while discharging their duties in accordance with the council constitution.

Enesi equally congratulated Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale on his victory at the High Court in Lokoja, confirming his mandate as the duly elected Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) for Kogi State chapter

He pointed out that the resolution of the court case should bring an end to all distractions, and he urged both parties to put their differences aside and work together for the overall benefit of Kogi youths and the state at large.

He commended the present executive under the leadership of Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale for conducting a free, fair, credible and peaceful elections.
