Barrister Eke Maimunat Abubakar Audu, a highly respected business magnate, lauded the youths of Kogi State for their commitment to law and order, as well as their unwavering support for the current administration at both state and national levels.

Maimunat, daughter of the late Prince Abubakar Audu, the 1st and 2nd Executive Governor of Kogi State, shared this perspective while hosting a delegation from the Kogi State chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), led by Chairman Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale and his Executive at her office in Abuja, on Wednesday.

She stated that her late father and former Governor had labored diligently for the people of Kogi state, pointing out that his legacy was extensively recognized throughout the state.

The lawyer and business icon expressed her appreciation to the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi State chapter, for deeming her worthy of the visit, and encouraged them to support the President and Commander in Chief, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in their efforts to excel during their tenure.

She commended Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his dedication to providing dividends, security, infrastructure, and governance to the people of Kogi State.

According to her, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is performing admirably, earning the admiration of his people, and thus deserving of support to accomplish more.

“I acknowledge that Governor Ododo has maintained a record of paying salaries on time since taking office, which is laudable and reflects his dedication to the welfare of Kogi people.”

“My decision to support and work for him has been vindicated, as his impacts have been widespread across Kogi State, in areas of Education, Agriculture, Infrastructure, Health and human capital development.”

She prayed for the Governor’s successful tenure, pledging her continuous support and loyalty.

Earlier, Kogi State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, who led other council members, stated that they were in Abuja to demonstrate solidarity with her, given her support for the present Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

He said the youths of Kogi State will continue to support and promote leaders who prioritize the State’s interests and maintain a positive relationship with the youth.

Comrade Ojodale briefed Barr. Maimunat Abubakar Audu on the diligent efforts of Kogi youths in supporting government officials and agencies towards success.

He described Barr. Maimunat Abubakar Audu as a senior citizen of Kogi who is truly living up to the name of her late father, Prince Abubakar Audu of blessed memory.

He assured her of the youth’s support and prayed to God to continue protecting and guiding her.
