Eid-fitr: Maikaya Greets Muslims, Advocates for Peace and Unity

The Chief Executive Officer of Maikaya Development Foundation, Dr, Muhammed Musa Maikaya, has extended his felicitations to Muslims worldwide on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast. He joined in celebrating Eid-el-Fitr, emphasizing unity and spiritual growth during this holy period.
In a Sallah message on Sunday, Maikaya encouraged Muslims to reflect on the lessons of Eid-ul-Fitr and embody exemplary conduct, a fundamental principle of Islam. He prayed that their fasting, sacrifices, and prayers would be accepted by God.
His message resonate with the spirit of Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan and emphasizes spiritual growth, renewal, and faith.
“The celebration is a time for Muslims to come together, strengthen community bonds, and express gratitude for the strength to complete the fast.”
Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former governorship aspirant, commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for restoring peace in Toto Local Government Area.
This follows the successful return of displaced Bassa community members to their homes after a series of communal clashes. Maikaya’s acknowledgment highlights the governor’s efforts in promoting stability and reconciliation in the area
The award-winning philanthropist and entrepreneur commended the chairman and traditional rulers of Toto local government area for their efforts in uniting people across different tribes and religions.
The highlighted the importance of community leaders in fostering harmony and cooperation, particularly in areas like Toto, where historical conflicts have been prevalent due to issues such as land ownership and ethnic tensions.
“The role of traditional rulers in Toto LG is crucial in promoting peace and stability, as they often serve as mediators in local disputes.”
Maikaya’s call for citizens to respect constituted authority aligns with his principles of promoting peaceful coexistence and development.

According to Maikaya, it is the government’s responsibility to ensure the security of lives and property, which he remarked has been realized through feasible policies and programs.
Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya stated that his political ambition extends beyond the 2027 election, emphasizing his commitment to adding value to society as a citizen of Nasarawa State. He vowed to continue impactful activities through the Maikaya Development Foundation, which focuses on education, healthcare, youth and women empowerment, poverty alleviation, and peaceful coexistence.
