Engr. Bashir Gegu, Barr. Galadima and Barr. Tanko Osuku condole with Maikaya, Toto community over the demise of his in-law, sister and others

The Toto community is in mourning after a tragic motor accident on the Abuja/Lokoja highway claimed six lives all from Toto town in Toto local government area of Nasarawa State. The community’s grief is shared by many, and condolences are extended to the families of the victims.

In a condolence message to Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya and the bereaved family members in Toto, Engr. Muhammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu, Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Barr. Yakubu Galadima, and Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku have offered their condolences, praying for the repose of the lost ones.
Engineer Bashir Gegu and Barrister Galadima attended both the scene of the accident and the funeral rites at Toto cemetery, which were attended by hundreds of mourners and sympathizers.
The leaders described the news as a rude shock, and appealed to the bereaved family members to seek solace in the fact that God’s will is done in his own time.
The leaders also prayed for God to receive their souls into paradise and grant the surviving family members the strength to endure the irreparable loss.
Global Times Nigeria reports that among the six persons who lost their lives were Maikaya in-law, Alhaji Muhammed Usman, his wife and younger sister to Maikaya, Hajiya Fatima Muhammed, while four other family members also died instantly during the tragic incident.

Reports confirm that the deceased were traveling from Toto Local Government Area in Nasarawa State to Kogi State when the tragic accident occurred. The incident resulted in instant fatalities at the scene.
Mourning has engulfed the Toto community as sympathisers from within and outside the State throng to offer condolences to the bereaved family members.
