Nasarawa Speaker greets Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr, seeks reflection and prayers
Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, has extended felicitations to the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr. He emphasized the importance of fervent prayers for the nation’s peace, progress, and the success of government at all levels.
A statement issued by Press Secretary to the Speaker Jibrin Gwamna quoted Speaker Dr. Danladi Jatau as encouraging citizens of the State to use the period to offer fervent prayers for Gov. Abdullahi Sule and other leaders at all levels to achieve success.
Speaker Jatau underscored the significance of the festival which proceeded the month long Ramadan fast hence the need for the period to be used for sober reflections through love, understanding, selflessness and sacrifice for nation’s peace, unity and prosperity.
Speaker Jatau urged citizens to sustain the virtues of Ramadan and support the less privileged, while championing peace and unity.
His leadership continues to focus on collaboration with Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration for state development
The Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen urged believers to use the period to strengthen their relationship with God and fellow human beings especially the need for the well to do in the society to support the less privileged ones to give them sense of belonging.

“we should also use this unique period to pray for the success of the present administration in the country headed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to succeed ”

Speaker Danladi Jatau while emphasizing the need for all to be law abiding citizens and remain committed to constituted authorities, wished all Muslims a successful sallah celebration.
