Honourable Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Executive Chairman of Toto Local Government Area in Nasarawa State, has expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family and Toto community. This follows a tragic motor accident that claimed the lives of his former cashier, Alhaji Muhammed Usman, his wife Fatima Ahmed Baba, and four other family members.

This followed the tragic loss of Hajiya Fatima Ahmed Baba, her husband Alhaji Muhammed Usman (former cashier of Toto LG), an in-law to Maikaya and four other family members in a fatal motor accident while traveling to Kogi State to offer condolences to a bereaved family who had lost their loved ones.

Tashas prayed for strength and comfort for the grieving families.

The former Chairman of Toto LGC, in a statement issued on Monday by his former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yahaya Idris Toto, expressed heartfelt condolences to Alhaji Musa Muhammed Maikaya, CEO of Maikaya Development Foundation, Honourable Ahmed Baba Yahaya, the Executive Chairman of Toto LGC, and the entire Toto community.

While in Toto, the former Chairman participated in the interment, offering prayers for the deceased’s souls to be accepted into paradise and for the bereaved family to find strength in their time of irreparable loss.

According to the statement, Tashas described the late council cashier as a diligent and dedicated civil servant, who dedicated his life to God and humanity.

The former Chairman encouraged the bereaved family members to accept the outcome as God’s best wishes for the family, despite the devastating fatalities that impacted the family and Toto community.
