Eid-el-fitir: Ex-Vice chair, Aishat Ekele, greets Muslims, harps on kindness

The former vice chairman of Olamaboro local government, Hon. Aishat Blessing Ekele has urged Muslim faithful to exercise the value of spirituality, kindness and generosity that was the Hallmark in the holy month of Ramadan .
Hon. Ekele disclosed this in her message to the Muslims in Kogi state as they celebrate Eid-Mubarak to mark the end of 30days prayers and submission to the will of Allah in the month of Ramadan.
She enjoined Muslims in her constituency in Kogi state: Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala federal constituency to continue to foster unity , love and forgiveness for development to thrive in the areas .
The former vice chairman who is now a local government Special Assistant (LSA) to the executive governor of kogi state, His Excellency Ahmed Usman Ododo said may this festive occasion surround her constituents with peace and happiness, as they cherished the moments with their loved ones.
“The holy month of Ramadan is a period of spiritual journey, reflection and revelation for 30days . May Allah , in His infinitive mercy grant your requests and supplications as you succumbed to His will.
“May your hearts be filled with love and compassion; and your households be filled with joy and happiness, blessings and prosperity as we pedal along in the journey of life”, she said .
Magajia 1 of Uke kingdom in Nassarawa state urged Muslims to use the period of the spiritual exercise to improve their relationship with Allah in order for Him to bless our lives ,communities; including giving wisdom to our leaders to take decision that will better the living standards of the people in the society .
However, she thanked governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the first lady of the state, Her Excellency, Sefinat Usman Ododo, wishing Allah to answer their prayers in the holy month of Ramadan.
“Your Excellency, sir, your giant strides in the short period in the corridor of power in the state is heart warming. May Allah answer your supplications during the 30days prayers .
“May Allah give you the wisdom to take the decision that will lift the state to the next level”, she said.
Also, she commended Ata Igala, His Royal Majesty , Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Ogwuche Akpa 11 and all the monarchs in the Igala nation for ensuring a peaceful coexistence in the kingdom.
“Happy sallah celebration to you all. May Allah answer our prayers , bless us ,and give us long life and prosperity. Happy celebration”, she said.
