Niger Delta Council of Chiefs commends Senate President Akpabio and Ominiminin for development initiatives
The Niger Delta Council of Chiefs has expressed appreciation to Senate President Godswill Akpabio for his leadership and impactful contributions to the region, particularly for the push towards establishment of South South Development Commission
It would be recall that the South South Development Commission was established to cater for the people of South South region, particularly, addressing poverty, education, infrastructure and governance amongst others
The headquarters is situated in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.

The Gazetted Chiefs representing the six states of the South-South region have expressed their prayers for the well-being, long life, and protection of Chief Ominimini and his boss, Senator Akpobio.
“We are optimistic that the collaboration between Chief Ominimini and the Senate President Akpobio will consistently secure the South-South region’s legitimate interests.”
