Delta State Government through the State Awareness Creation Committee on Youth Enlistment into Military and Paramilitary services, is by this announcement encouraging qualified and eligible Delta youths to apply online for the Nigerian Army 89th Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) for Non-Trades and Trades men and women.
DURATION OF APPLICATION: The application which commenced on Monday 31st March, 2025 will end on Saturday, 17th May, 2025. The ONLINE APPLICATION IS FREE OF CHARGE. Eligible and qualified applicants are to visit the official application portal at:

ENTRY QUALIFICATION: The minimum entry Qualification is 4 credit passes at not more than two sittings in WASCE, GCE, NECO and NABTEB ordinary levels (O/L). While Trades men and women – must posses additional TRADE TEST/CITY & GUILD certificate.
Qualified Delta youths are advised by the State Government to visit the Nigerian Army’s Recruitment Website at: https.//recruitment.army.mil.ng to fill and submit the online application FREE of CHARGE.
TAKE NOTE that all applicants are expected to be single and Nigerian citizens by birth and must possess a National Identity Card/NIN SLIP, valid age declaration or birth certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission. APPLICANTS must be between 18 and 22 years for Non Trades men/women and Not more than 26 years for Trades men/women as at 30th June, 2025.
HEIGHT OF APPLICANTS must not be less than 1.68 metres tall for male, and 1.65 metres tall for female. SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES IN DELTA STATE, must be medically, physically and psychologically fit in accordance with Nigerian Army standard.
SCREENING of shortlisted candidates shall take place at the Cenotaph Complex, GRA, along High Court Road, off Okpanam Road, Asaba, Delta State, with effect from Monday 2nd to Monday 16th June, 2025 beginning from 7am daily.
Recruitment of successful candidates into the Nigerian Army will provide paid and pensionable employments for Delta youths, male and female. Nigerian Army will also be responsible for University education where applicable, and subsequent professional training at all levels.
Consequently, Delta State Government and His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Dr (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, urges Chairmen of local government councils, traditional rulers, Clergymen and leaders of Faith-Based organisations to encourage their eligible youths to apply and participate in the ongoing Nigerian Army 89th Nigerian Army Recruitment Exercise.
