Nasarawa State Govt distributes Professor M.S. Haruna’s textbook to tertiary institutions

In a landmark event aimed at enhancing technical education, Engr. Prof. Mohammed Sani Haruna, the former Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), distributed specialized textbooks on solar power to tertiary institutions across Nasarawa State.
The event took place at the schools of post graduates, Nasarawa state University Keffi, was attended by dignitaries from all walks of life.
The book titled “Solar Power System Design, Installations and Maintenance” provides comprehensive knowledge on solar energy usage, system design, repairs, and maintenance.
According to Prof. Haruna, the objective is to simplify solar technology concepts for the general public—particularly students—empowering them with practical skills in renewable energy.
The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, ably represented at the event by the state APC Chairman, Dr. Aliyu Bello, described Prof. Haruna as “a man with extraordinary initiatives” and commended the gesture and pledged continuous support for similar educational advancements.
Dr. Abdullahi Adamu, former APC national chairman and Aliyu Nana, who represented the speaker of Nasarawa state house of Assembly, said the author being a successful administrator, has contributed to the growth of both private and public sector, and pledged to support him in his future ambition.
Representing the Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Prof. Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Prof. Theophilus Daniel Lagi, expressed profound gratitude for the donation. She praised Prof. Haruna for his thoughtful and impactful contribution to educational development in the state.
The donation of the book to all tertiary institutions in Nasarawa State is in Line with the policy direction of the state government under tha leadership of Governor, Abdullahi Sule towards improving the standard of education” He said.
He Commended the Author, ENGR. Prof. Mohammed Haruna for his commitment towards the success of education. Adding that the University will ensure proper Utilization of the Book to Ensure technical Knowledge Of Staff and Students as well.
The event climaxed with the official distribution of the books to various tertiary institutions across Nasarawa State, with resounding appreciation from all beneficiaries. The initiative stands as a testimony to Engr. Prof. Mohammed Sani Haruna’s commitment to promoting science, technology, and innovation at the grassroots level.
