Oborevwori Hails Chief Chris Agbobu At 70

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended heartfelt congratulations to former Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Chris Agbobu, on the occasion of his 70th birth anniversary.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, Governor Oborevwori praised Chief Agbobu for his exemplary service to both Delta State and Nigeria.

He acknowledged Agbobu’s impressive public service record, which includes his tenure as a two-time minister, former Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, and member of the Delta State Peace and Advisory Council.

The Governor lauded Agbobu’s enduring contributions to leadership, describing him as a respected educator and political figure whose mentorship continues to inspire many.

Governor Oborevwori said: “On behalf of my family, the government, and the people of Delta State, I heartily congratulate an illustrious son of Delta, Chief Christopher Ashimedua Agbobu, as he marks his 70th birthday.

“You have consistently demonstrated unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Aniocha South and the state at large.”

He joined family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating the Ubulu-Unor-born statesman and prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, and strength for Agbobu in his ongoing service to humanity.
