Ex-Speaker Balarabe attends wedding of Speaker Jatau’s daughter in Lafia
Rev. Bitrus Kaya of ECWA Goodnews Garaku in Nasarawa State urged couples to respect the sanctity of marriage to build happy and prosperous homes during the wedding of Josiah and Esther, daughter of the Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, held at ERCC Mercyland Ombi 1, Lafia.

He emphasized that families not depending on God face crises and encouraged couples to always invite God’s presence to overcome challenges. He advised the bride to be submissive and the groom to be responsible.
Rev. Kaya made the call at the wedding between Josiah and Esther the daughter of the Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly held at ERCC Mercyland Ombi 1, Lafia the Nasarawa State capital today.
The Clergy urged believers to always belief in God in order to overcome their challenges.
He also urged couples to always depend on God in their marriages.
“Any family without depending on God is a family with crisis.
” We have uncontrolled challenges in our families because of absence of God.
“For you to succeed in your family, always invites the presence of God” he said.

He urged the new wife to be submissive to her husband while urging the husband to be responsible at all times.
On his part, Very Rev. Bainta Anthony, Reverend Incharge of ERCC Mercyland Obi One Lafia joined Esther and Josiah as husband and wife.
“God knew that Esther and Josiah will be join together as husband and wife.
“The Bible said a man and a woman will leave his/her mother and father and will become one.
” What God has joined,no man should separate.
“Marriage is not just physical union but union of the heart” he said.
The Chun Mada HRH Samson Gamu Yare congratulated the couple and advised them to completely avoid third party in their affairs and prayed God to bless the union, the position that was corroborated by the State Commissioner for Justice Barr. Isaac Danladi who spoke on behalf of the State Government at the Church Service.
The wedding solemnization in the Church had in attendance the Immediate past Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, State Lawmakers, government officials and well wishers from far and near.
Shortly after the Church Service a warmed and well attended reception was held at Lafia City Hall which saw the presence of Governor Abdullahi Sule.
The Governor who congratulated the couple, blessed their marriage and offer advise that will guide their home and have a successful marital life.
On his part, the father of the Bride and Speaker of the State Assembly Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, congratulated his daughter and her husband on their successful marriage and blessed their marriage.
” I am happy and delighted that today my daughter have got married, it is the joy and dream of every parents to see their children grow and get married.
” I wish her happy and peaceful married life and may the Lord bless their marriage abundantly” he said.
The Chairman of the occasion and member representing Obi One Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Dr. Ibrahim Peter Akwe appreciated all those who have supported in one way or the other praying God to bless everyone accordingly just as he urged the couple to embrace unity, peace, tolerance, openness and understanding among other good virtues of marriage.
