Nasarawa Central constituents commend female lawmaker Danyaro for fulfilling campaign promises
…Begin drilling more boreholes, pledged full support for her success beyond 2027
Member representing Nasarawa Central constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, has commenced another round of borehole drilling in her constituency to address water scarcity and improve access to clean water for her people.
Danyaro said the initiative is part of her ongoing efforts to provide essential infrastructure and support to her constituents.
This, the only female lawmaker in the State said it was in fulfillment of her campaign promises to the people of her constituency.
According to the Chairman House Committee on Women Affairs, the initiative which was to add value to the people as part of lined up projects of her two years in office will be completed within the shortest period of time to enable the people benefit from the Tafisu Water Sheme.
The recent water project for another round which commenced with Ara Ward One, Makama Unit at the weekend, according to the legislator was part of fulfillment of her campaign promises to the people and will cut across other units.
The benefiting community who came out in their numbers to witness the drilling of the borehole commended the lawmaker for providing the much needed dividends of democracy to the people.
They said the water project if completed will go a long way in addressing the prolonged water scarcity in the area and served many households.
They appreciated the lawmaker for the gesture and for being a worthy representative of the people of Nasarawa Central constituency and promised to support her to succeed beyond 2027.
It would be reported that the lawmaker has drilled boreholes across some wards during the first phase of the Tafisu Water Scheme promising to ensure that the exercise cut across all the electoral wards before the end of her tenure.
