Gov Sule Charges NYSC Members to Initiate Meaningful Projects as 2025 Batch A Stream One Comes to an End

The Nasarawa State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of NYSC members posted to the state. Governor Abdullahi Sule, represented by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, assured that the government prioritizes the welfare, security, and general well-being of corps members, emphasizing that Nasarawa remains peaceful and will sustain this environment.
Adequate arrangements, including the construction of a 3,000-capacity multipurpose hall at the orientation camp, have been made to support corps members. The state government also urges corps members to adhere to camp rules and avoid activities that could endanger their lives or tarnish their image
This assurance was made by Governor Abdullahi Sule during the closing ceremony of the 2025 NYSC Batch A stream one orientation course, held at Magaji Danyamusa Permanent Orientation Camp in Keffi.
Declaring the 2025 Batch A Stream One orientation course closed, Governor Abdullahi Sule, represented by Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Kwanta Yakubu, assured NYSC members of the government’s commitment to their welfare, security, and well-being.
He urged them to work towards improving the lives of their host communities and initiate programs that would create job opportunities and promote self-reliance.
The Governor appealed to corps employers not to reject NYSC members posted to their organizations, emphasizing that rejection would dampen their courage to serve.
The government of Nasarawa state under Governor Abdullahi Sule is committed to ensure the welfare of Corps members in the state. Adequate arrangement has been made to send them to rural communities and Urban centers”.
Brigadier General Olakunle Oluseye Nafiu, NYSC Director-General, visited the Magaji Danyamusa Permanent Orientation Camp and expressed satisfaction with the commitment of staff and corps members and promised his support for the scheme’s development.
NYSC Nasarawa State Coordinator, Mrs. Salamatu Muhammad, announced the deployment of corps members to various places of primary assignment. She urged them to respect constituted authority and perform their duties as expected.

“Use social media responsible to foster Unity and growth. Seek official clarification on NYSC Matters and avoid spreading of misinformation, stop night journeys rather than use designated motor Parks”.
Some corps members interviewed expressed appreciation for the opportunities provided by the federal and state governments. They promised to discharge their responsibilities in line with NYSC regulations.
