Idah Concern Youths commend Chief Barbara Eleojo Jitoboh on Children’s Day celebration, calling her a pride of Kogi East

The Idah Concern Youths is a youth movement in Idah that focuses on recognizing and appreciating individuals who contribute positively to the growth and development of Idah and Kogi State. This group works to highlight and support well-meaning people whose efforts foster progress in the local community and the state at large

The group following the activities of Mrs. Barbara Eleojo Jitoboh,  the CEO of Barbara Eleojo Jitoboh Foundation (BEJF), which she founded.

The foundation has been instrumental in contributing to the growth and development of Kogi State through various initiatives

According to the group, ” Your support for this year’s Idah Children’s Day celebration through the distribution of educational materials to the students is highly appreciated”

They urged her to continue in her usual magnanimity, history will continue to remember her for good. And that her records of good deeds are kept and will speak for her when the time beacons.

Investigation revealed that the BEJF launched the “One Kogi Project,” aimed at empowering vulnerable women and advancing education for youth across Kogi State.

The foundation organizes community events such as novelty football matches to promote culture, peace, and community development.

Mrs. Jitoboh has been active in fighting domestic violence, injustice, and supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The foundation plans to empower market women, especially widows, and youth in all 21 local government areas of Kogi State.

Her humanitarian work focuses on education, healthcare, empowerment, and community development, making her a well-recognized figure in Kogi State’s social progress.
