Ex-Buhari Minister Abdullahi dumps APC
A former Minister of Environment, Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi (Magajin Garin Uke), has submitted his resignation from the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Abdullahi formally notified the chairman of the APC in his Uke ward of Karu Local Government Area in Nasarawa State of his decision via a letter.
In a letter dated June 1, 2025 and copied to party officials, the former Minister announced his resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC) citing personal reasons.
Abdullahi expressed gratitude to the party chairman for the cooperation extended to him during his tenure with the APC.
He acknowledged that, together, they made modest contributions toward building and strengthening the party in the State.
“I wish you and the party good luck,” the letter added.
Mohammed Abdullahi had accepted months ago the call to contest the 2027 gubernatorial election in Nasarawa State in response to contemporary realities.
He formerly served as Secretary to the Nasarawa State Government, Minister and board respectively
