Nasarawa Speaker congratulates Muslims on Eid-el Kabir, urges reflection and prayers
Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly has extended warm felicitations to Muslim communities on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el Kabir celebration.
In his message, Dr. Jatau called for fervent prayers for the nation’s sustained peace, unity, and progress.
He emphasized the importance of collective efforts in fostering harmony and development across Nigeria.
The Speaker urged the people to support and continue to pray for the success of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Abdullahi Sule, highlighting the critical role of prayers and unity in achieving the country’s and state’s developmental goals.
A statement by Press Secretary to the Speaker Jibrin Gwamna quotes the Speaker Dr. Danladi Jatau as urging citizens of the State to use the period to pray and support Gov. Abdullahi Sule and other leaders at all levels to succeed on the task ahead of them.
Speaker Jatau underscored the significance of the festival of sacrifice the world over hence the need for the period to be used for sober reflections through love, understanding, selflessness and sacrifice for nation’s peace, unity and prosperity.
He urged believers to use the period to strengthen their relationship with God and fellow human beings especially the need for the well to do in the society to support the less privileged ones to give them sense of belonging.

Dr. Jatau while emphasizing the need for all to be law abiding citizens and remain committed to constituted authorities, wished all Muslims a successful sallah celebration.p
