Eid-el-Kabir: Ex-Vice chair, Aishat Blessing Ekele congratulates Muslims
Hon. Aishat Blessing Ekele, the former Vice Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area (LGA), has called on Muslims worldwide to imbibe the fear of Allah and practice total submission to His divine will as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
In her heartfelt message, Hon. Ekele emphasized the importance of reflecting on the spiritual significance of the festival, encouraging the faithful to renew their commitment to righteousness, sacrifice, and obedience to Allah, just as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him).
She prayed that the celebrations bring peace, blessings, and prosperity to all Muslim communities and urged everyone to foster unity and compassion during this sacred period.

Mrs Aishat Ekeke , who is now a Local Government Special Assistant (LSA) to His Excellency , Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, governor of kogi state disclosed this in Lokoja on Friday in her congratulatory message to the Muslim faithful in her constituency in kogi , Yakanajie Emirate, Uke kingdom in Nasarawa state , and the nation in general.
In her goodwill message, the Magajia 1 of Uke kingdom in Nasarawa state said that the significance of Eid-el-Kabir calls for deep sober reflection, sacrifice and unwavering obedience to Allah.
While she called on the Muslims to show compassion toward one and another at this period and beyond, the ex -local vice chairman called on them to uphold the values exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
“The unwavering faith and obedience to the will of Allah remains a guiding light for all believers.
“The fear of Allah and total submission to His will is the fulcrum of the Muslim faith.
“Imbibe the fear of Allah and submission to His will as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim and his son, Ismail for a better society”, she said.
In view of the importance of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration in the religion of Muslims, Hon. Ekeke called on them to continue to embrace the spirit of love, peace, kindness and sacrifice, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
She added : “Let us use this period to foster unity, love, and peaceful coexistence in our constituencies in the state. The state and country no doubt need our collective prayers and contributions now more than ever.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Kabir today, i rejoice with our Muslim brothers and sisters in my local government, my constituents, state, Yakanaje Emirate in Uke kingdom in Nasarawa state and the nation at large.
“This spiritual celebration is seen as a mark of sacrifice, humility, and devotion, values Muslims all over the world must carry out beyond the festival for a peaceful society”,she said .
Meanwhile, Hon. Ekeke thanked governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the first lady of the state, Her Excellency, Sefinat Usman Ododo, wishing Allah to grant them the wisdom to tend the state to an enviable height ,where peace and justice reign and economic activities thrives.
“Your Excellency, the few years in the corridor of power is an eye opener. Your giant strides is encouraging ; as it exudes new fresh air of hope and development. Happy Sallah celebration”, she said .

Also, Hon Ekele facilitated the chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) , Alhaji Abdullai Bello and his team for his consistency and undiluted loyalty to the party , and the three arms of the government, including party members that had brought the state thus so far .
Equally, Hon. Ekele commended Ata Igala, His Royal Majesty , Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Ogwuche Akpa 11 ,and all the monarchs, as well as political and spiritual leaders in the Igala nation for ensuring a peaceful coexistence in the kingdom.
