Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, the incumbent Kogi State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), is actively engaged in youth leadership and advocacy in Kogi State.
Ojodale and his delegation recently visited former Senator Yakubu Oseni in Abuja to inform him about his aspiration to become the NYCN President, discussing both Kogi and national political issues.
Ojodale is recognized for mobilizing youth, supporting government initiatives, and fostering youth inclusiveness in governance.

Senator Yakubu Oseni, whom he visited, represented Kogi Central from 2019 to 2023 and previously chaired the Kogi Internal Revenue Service before entering politics.
On his part, Senator Yakubu Oseni has warmly welcomed Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, assuring him of his unwavering support as Ojodale prepares for the upcoming National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Congress.
During their meeting, Senator Oseni commended Ojodale’s commitment to youth development and leadership.
He also reminisced about the significant strides made by former Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, in promoting youth leadership through various initiatives and policies.
According to Senator Oseni, these efforts have played a crucial role in engaging young people in governance and empowering them to take on leadership roles.
In his quest to secure broad-based support ahead of the NYCN election, Comrade Ojodale has been actively engaging with prominent Nigerian leaders. Notably, he has met with former Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, former Minister Steven Ikani Ocheni, and several other influential figures.
Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale, the Kogi State chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) and hopeful President of the Council, has advocated for the consideration of a North Central presidency within the NYCN, emphasizing that such a move would promote fairness and tranquility in the organization.
This call aligns with broader efforts within the NYCN to ensure equitable representation and address regional imbalances, as seen in the council’s support for initiatives like the North Central Development Commission to foster inclusive growth and youth empowerment in the region.

“These engagements are part of Ojodale’ strategy to build alliances and gather momentum for a successful outing at the congress.”
Observers note that the growing support for Ojodale from key stakeholders such as Senator Oseni is a testament to his reputation and the confidence placed in his leadership abilities within the youth constituency.
