Kogi Mining Liscence: Mr Okuntimo Commends Governor Ododo
The Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has been commended for acquiring mining licenses and purchasing mining equipment for the state.
In a lead of appreciation, the Managing Director of Meena Technology Nigeria, Mr. Imole Okuntimo, expressed joy that the administration of His Excellency has embarked on the path of economic recovery by diversifying the state’s revenue sources.
He appreciated the Administration of His Excellency for adopting sustainable practices in the mining sector, improving mine planning through technological advancements, and addressing environmental and social impacts.
He also commended the Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Engineer Abubakar Mohammed Bashir Gegu, Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources for pioneering this critical initiative.
In his words “Kogi State is the home base of over thirty Known Mineral resources in the country. We cannot leave them unharnessed” Mr Okuntimo also thanked the people of Kogi State for their continued support and prayers for the success of the Administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo while reiterating the support of his organisation in ensuring the Kogi State efforts towards Economic diversification yields the desired gains.
