Get your voters cards to end misrule in the country –ADC chieftain tells Nigerian citizens
A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress from Abia state, Hon Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi, has tasked the people of southeast in particular on the importance of the forthcoming nationwide continuous voters registration exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced 18th August, 2025 for commencement of online registration for Permanent Voters Card(PVC), while the In-person registration starts on 25th August 2025.
However, Emeka Bahadur, in a statement on Thursday, reminded the citizens that only the permanent voters’ card empowers them to choose those to lead them during elections by the nation’s electoral umpire.
The party stalwart who regretted the alleged failure of the All Progressives Congress-controlled federal government in the country towards addressing the myriads of problems impeding socio-economic and infrastructural growth of Nigeria, reiterated the resolve of the ADC to form next government in Nigeria in 2027.
While describing ADC as the only viable alternative to the economic recovery, rejuvenation, and prosperity of the country, Bahadur maintained that his party will confront these present Nigeria’s challenges with implementation of development-oriented policies when it assume leadership of the nation.
To actualize the objective, Bahadur who is also the Director General of Atiku Abubakar Coalition Media Awareness Forum, urged lovers of democracy to visit INEC designated centres and register for permanent voters cards, so as to enable them effect the desired change in all levels of political leadership in the country through the coming general elections across the federation.
