NBA Lokoja Branch honors Barr. Tanko Osuku for his dedication to legal profession

The Nigerian Bar Association Lokoja Branch, has honored the Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, with an award on September 24, 2025, in recognition of his exemplary service, dedication to the legal profession, and contributions to the NBA Lokoja Branch.
The NBA said the accolade reflect Barr. Tanko Musa’s outstanding commitment and leadership in public service and the legal field, which has been acknowledged by various stakeholders in Kogi State
The award was presented to Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku during the NBA Lokoja Branch Legal Week, Award, and Dinner Night at K Galaxy Event Center, Lokoja, Kogi State.
The event was attended by prominent dignitaries including serving and former Chief Judges, the serving Kogi State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, lawyers, local government executive chairmen, and House of Assembly members.
Barr. Tanko Osuku, upon receiving the award, described the legal profession as a vital field that significantly shapes society.
He expressed gratitude to the outgoing executive members for recognizing his contributions and noted that the honor motivates him to achieve even more.
Barr. Tanko Osuku has significantly advanced the legal profession. He is a former NBA Chairman of the Lokoja Branch, served as Chairman of Kogi Local Government, was a Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor, and is currently the Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Civil Service Commission.
He is also the Principal Partner of A.O Musa of the People’s Chambers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court, with his law firm based in Lokoja.
