The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has challenged Nigerians to work for Nigeria to be better.
Speaking on Wednesday in Asaba when he received on courtesy call the Delta State Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Mr Edet Ufot
, the Governor asserted that collectively, Nigerians can make the country better.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, stated that what is required is attitudinal change.
“We all live in Nigeria, we desire all the good things in Nigeria some of us who are privileged to go outside the country have seen.
“We want our country to be like sons of these places but the capacity and ability to make it happen has always been a problem to us.
“What what we are doing today, is to specifically enlighten the people to make us have attitudinal change so that we can build our country to be what we desire it to be.
“Some of us want to be in United Kingdom, Canada, America and other advanced countries; these people built their own countries, let us also build ours,” the Governor said.
