Wadada gives 13 cars to Nasarawa Councillors ahead of 2027 Elections

Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, has recently donated official vehicles, a total of 13 Sharon buses to councillors across the 13 local government areas of Nasarawa State.
This gesture was made as part of his commitment to enhancing grassroots governance and legislative efficiency ahead of the 2027 elections.
The donation was made during a strategic engagement with local government legislative councils at his Polo Ranch field along the Keffi-Abuja Expressway on Friday.

Addressing the councillors, Senator Wadada stated that the meeting was the first of its kind since he rejoined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) weeks ago.
He emphasized that councillors are key drivers in any electoral victory due to their grassroots nature. He urged them to support the policies and programs of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Abdullahi Sule for their success.
Senator Wadada, speaking on the theme “Electorate Enlightenment,” said the purpose of the meeting was to educate the electorates on the need for a harmonious political environment, noted that there is a cordial relationship among governorship aspirants in Nasarawa State.
He called on his supporters to act peacefully and relate well with their counterparts, expressing optimism that 2027 would be fruitful.
In their goodwill messages, the APC Zonal Chairman, Nasarawa West, Isaiah Ega, who spoke on behalf of the chairmen in the zone, Prof. Silas Gyar, and Victor Terra, a former commissioner, commended Senator Wadada’s political trajectory. They said he made the right decision by returning to the APC and promised their support for his success.

Other dignitaries, including Ibrahim Uba Arikya, Deputy Chairman of Lafia Local Government, Mr. Edward Agede Auta, Isa Ambaka, and Shuaibu Mohammed Magaji, Chairman of the Speakers’ Forum, commended Senator Wadada for his political inclusiveness and urged him to sustain the effort.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of car keys to the 13 local government councillors, who appreciated Senator Wadada for the donation and promised to use the vehicles as expected.
