Wadada’s Healthcare Initiative Launches in Keffi

In a bid to ensure quality healthcare services for his constituents, Sen. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, has sponsored a free medical outreach program across the senatorial zone.

The two-day event, currently underway at Kofar Sarki Primary Health Care in Keffi, has already attracted patients from Nasarawa and Toto Local Government Areas on its first day.

The second day of the outreach will cater to patients from Keffi, Karu, and Kokona Local Governments.

The free medical outreach, organized by the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA) in partnership with Pitmana Consulting Limited and Capricorn Health Initiatives, is a testament to Sen. Wadada’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of his people.

According to Dr. Isah Daniel Salihu, the Medical Director of the team, the outreach will feature a range of services, including general medical consultations, antenatal and maternal checks, blood pressure and diabetes screening, and free medications.

Other services include Hepatitis B and C testing, Malaria and Typhoid testing, deworming for children aged 10 to 12 years, and minor surgeries.

The Emir of Keffi, HRH Dr. Shehu Chindo Yamusa III, represented by Fakacin Keffi, Alhaji Shamsideen Abubakar, commended Sen. Wadada for his gesture, stating that the federal lawmaker has not disappointed his electorates.

He urged Sen. Wadada to sustain his efforts in serving the people while the Representative of the DG Wadada campaign organization, Hon. Idris Suleiman Dan sauka, echoed similar sentiments, praising Sen. Wadada’s commitment to the welfare of his constituents.

Beneficiaries of the outreach program, including Mrs. Lois Samuel Audu, Hussaini Abubakar, and Haj. Saudatu Abubakar, expressed their gratitude to Sen. Wadada for alleviating their suffering.

They prayed for God’s guidance and prosperity in his future political endeavors, noting that his initiative has brought hope and relief to the people of Nasarawa West Senatorial District.

The community has welcomed Sen. Wadada’s initiative, with many praising his commitment to improving the health and well-being of his constituents.
